You have today!

“She is energetic and strong, a hard worker.”

-Proverbs 31:17

Dear Sistas,

You can do hard things in this life. God designed us to withstand the pressures of this world with him by our sides.

The truth is there are some of us who take a little longer to get it done or have a tougher time getting started. There are those who make it look so easy, and it all seems to come naturally to them. Nevertheless, it doesn’t take from the fact that we all come back to this truth, “You can do it!”

There is no particular time limit as to when you should do it, whatever it is, unless you're pregnant, lol!

Because today is the day, don’t worry about your age or all the logistics as far as how hard it will be to finish. Just begin and go. Fight if you have to, fall and get back up. Just declare that, "Today is the day!" We can no longer make excuses for what we don’t have or what we can’t do. I’ve learned through resilience, tears, failures, and setbacks that I still have today.

In your eyes as well as others, you seem to be the last one to finish all the time and you know what, "So what!" None of that will ever matter when you get to the finish line. The only thing that will ever matter is that you came, saw, prayed, and conquered!

So, in this letter, I want to leave you with five bold quotes that I hope cause you to think and begin. Start the business, read the book, forgive someone, sign up for the class, say yes to the man you have been giving a hard time to.

Trust me; I know what it’s like to start and begin again, I just may be the queen of that department.

Please read these quotes and scriptures and recieve them as encouragement for you to step out in faith to conquer your hard thing.

“‘Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might, for there is no work or thought or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol, to which you are going. Again I saw that under the sun the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favor to those with knowledge, but time and chance happen to them all.’

-Ecclessiates 9:10-11

“Don’t blame your parents, don’t blame your boyfriend, don’t blame the weather. Accept the reality, embrace the challenge, and deal with it. Be in charge of your own life. Turn negatives into positives and be proud to be a woman.” ― Diane Von Furstenberg

“Good work planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.”-Proverbs 21:5

“Passion and persistence are what matter. Dreams are achievable and you can make your fantasy come true, but there are no shortcuts. Nothing happens without hard work.” ― Diane Von Furstenberg,

To be a champion, I think you have to see the big picture. It's not about winning and losing; it's about every day hard work and about thriving on a challenge. It's about embracing the pain that you'll experience at the end of a race and not being afraid. I think people think too hard and get afraid of a certain challenge.

-Summer Sanders

“The lazy person claims, “There is a lion on the road! Yes, I’m sure there’s a lion out there!”

-Proverbs 26:13

I just want to encourage you today as I have to do for myself time and time again. As long as you have today, you have a chance to take a step into Gods purpose for your life. There are so many things that we can do today, that can change our tomorrow.

Love you all dearly,
